MSM Transportation named to Platinum Club of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies for seventh consecutive year
Bolton, ON -- MSM Transportation, a leading provider of commercial trucking and expedited freight services, today was named to the Platinum Club of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies award program for the seventh consecutive year.
Platinum Club status honors leadership and excellence in every aspect of business. The award is determined by an independent panel of business analysts who conduct operational and financial reviews.
Platinum Club members must maintain their designation as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies for at least six consecutive years. MSM Transportation has achieved Platinum Club status each year since becoming eligible in 2003. The company achieved its first 50 Best distinction in 1997.
Bob Murray, president of MSM Transportation, said the award has special significance as the company enters its third decade in business.
Consistency and integrity produce long-term business relationships and an ability to succeed in any economic environment, Murray said. This award is a tribute to the MSM employees and business partners whose dedication and expertise have helped sustain those relationships not just during our seven years as a Platinum Club member, but throughout our 20 years as a company.
The Platinum Club and 50 Best Managed Companies awards are sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, Queen's School of Business, and the National Post newspaper. MSM Transportation will be honored with other Platinum Club award winners at a ceremony in Toronto on March 8.
