National Truck League opens Mississauga office

In 1988 National Truck League (NTL) Insurance Solutions was one of the first insurance providers in North America to offer individual Owner/Operators and trucking  companies insurance products that were designed specifically for the trucking industry.  NTL business continues to be 100 per cent dedicated to the trucking industry and its unique inherent risks - but now there's a nice addition to those packages.

NTL's new office in Mississauga, Ontario was opened on October 22, 2011 and as another driving factor for NTL's growth they've expanded to include home and auto insurance.

"This opening of this new office falls directly in line with our vision," notes NTL President Rod Stiller.

Some Light at the End of the Tunnel for Senior Truck Drivers     2011-12-22

TORONTO, Ont. -- In a letter to the Ontario Trucking Association, the province's Minister of Transportation, Bob Chiarelli, says the government agrees "that commercial driver licence renewal can be made less onerous for senior drivers (drivers 65 years of age and older) without compromising safety" and has asked his parliamentary assistant, Vic Dhillon (MPP, Brampton West) to lead a review of determine what amendments to the renewal requirements are needed and a plan to implement them.  Read More
